SHEDDING PROBLEMS?  Does your dog seem to constantly leave tumbleweeds of shed hair all over the house? Even after being groomed? He/she most likely needs a series of Deshedding sessions. WE GROOM CATS! Unlike most grooming salons, we groom cats as well as dogs. We will customize the appointment to the needs of your cat and transform her into a “pretty kitty” and him into a “handsome man”.

ESTIMATES: A grooming estimate is always provided upon request and in advance of the visit. Just ask! We’ll be happy to give you our honest opinion of what your pet’s grooming needs are. Feel free to call us or stop by for a free in-person grooming evaluation for your pet.

PRICING: Our approach to grooming is to provide an “All Inclusive” grooming package for every pet’s Wignall Day Spa visit. All appointments include brushing as needed, light deshedding as needed, bath, conditioning, ear cleaning, nail trim, blow dry and external anal gland expression as needed. Full medical services are also available on site by our veterinary staff.

SPECIAL BANDANAS: Your dog will always go home with one of our signature bandanas, specifically chosen by our Groomers for the season or current holiday!

PERSONALIZED DROP OFF AND PICK UP TIMES AVAILABLE: Have an early meeting at work or a long commute on your pet’s grooming day? Are you stressed about coordinating your pet’s spa visit with your children’s busy schedule? Please do not hesitate to ask us about a personalized drop off or pick up time coordinated with our hospital staff. We will be happy to assist you in order to make your pet’s spa visit as easy and convenient as possible.

ONE-STOP CARE: Full Medical, boarding, daycare and grooming services are available on site to make your pet’s complete care easy, conveninet and provided by the same staff you know and trust. Wignall Animal Hospital has served the greater Dracut-Lowell-Pelham area for the past 21 years! Your pet’s grooming needs can be provided along with his/her annual physical examination and vaccinations all at the same time–whether during a boarding or daycare visit or while you are busy attending to life’s other demands on “grooming day”. Please be sure to let us know of all your pet’s needs and we will be happy to help you coordinate them all during an all-inclusive visit.

PETS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS: If your pet has special medical issues or you have special concerns about your pet during grooming, rest assured that our medical staff is on site during your pet’s grooming visits. If your pet has any special needs, please let us know and we will be sure to have a member of our medical staff advise you.

WHY VACCINATIONS AND PARASITE TEST ARE REQUIRED: While each pet visiting Wignall Day Spa receives individual personalized attention, is groomed individually and each has a separate individual resting place during the grooming day, for medical reasons it is recommended that any pets in a group setting have up to date vaccinations to prevent the innocent spread of disease and illness. This includes boarding, daycare and grooming facilities. For the safety of your pet, up to date vaccinations are required to keep our grooming environment protected from the most commonly transmitted diseases and illnesses. A negative fecal test is also required in order to prevent the likelihood of transmitting intestinal parasites from the feces of any pet in or around our grooming spa. Both these requirements are considered the gold standard of care for your pet.
